This was a very busy Saturday! It started off with a playdate in Brooklyn Heights with Dario and Ashley. It was a perfect day to be out and about and we got to explore a new area. Dario and Sebastian seemed to get along pretty well, as us moms got to catch up and enjoy the view of the NY skyline from their living room window. One can never get tired of this view - sparkly and bright, at any hour of the day. Our indoor playdate was followed by a walk around the neighborhood and then off to Prospect Heights for a book signing at a cute little children's bookstore.
Author Tonya Lewis Lee (yes, wife of Spike Lee) signed copies of her book "Please Baby Please" and "Please Puppy Please". The book store was crowded, given the small space and the pretty steady line for the book signing. Sebastian was in the Baby Bjorn facing out, smiling and looking curiously at those in line. We waited our turn and then said hello to Tonya and had her sign a little dedication in "Please Baby Please" for Sebastian. She even posed for a photo with him! It was a fun little event with lots of moms and little ones milling around. We also discovered a playspace next door. Another fun Saturday in BK.
